Curriculum

Curriculum development is the right and duty of each higher education institution, but it must be grounded in the 1945 Constitution, Law No. 12 of 2012, the National Higher Education Standards set out in Ministerial Regulation No. 3 of 2020, and other applicable provisions. A curriculum should enable students to master specific knowledge and skills and develop noble character, so that they can help uphold national values and diversity and foster care for their fellow citizens and humanity, improving social welfare with justice and the prosperity of Indonesia.

Ministerial Regulation No. 3 of 2020 on the National Higher Education Standards requires universities to facilitate students' rights (which they may take up or not) through academic guidelines. Programmes carried out with partners should be designed and agreed jointly between the university and its partners. Merdeka Belajar programmes may also be national programmes prepared by the Ministry or programmes prepared by the university and registered in the Higher Education Database.

To implement the MBKM programme, the Law Study Programme of Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta is committed to adapting its curriculum and designing courses that develop students' thinking in line with a competitive business and industrial world, deepen their knowledge by confronting them with real problems, provide experience, build skills, and deliver the programme in an enjoyable, innovative, and creative way.
